Demos

Dungeon Demo V1.4 (released on October 23, 2011)

This interactive demo presents many of the main features of the PixelLight engine. It makes use of our new deferred renderer and also shows many additional graphical effects. The demo can be run either in a self-running demo mode or interactively providing the typical first-person and free camera modes. User interaction with the scene is implemented by using a physics plugin, which connects the PixelLight framework with a third-party physics engine.

Cartoon Demo (released on August 27, 2010)

The cartoon demo represents a game-prototype which could be easily used to develop a simple jump-and-run type game. It uses cartoon like graphics effects to produce a non-photorealistic game look. The game interaction makes heavy use of the physics engine for e.g. character movement, platforms and physical interaction with many objects in the scene.
